Does everyone not agree that tacticians symbol is pretty weak if not only for resists. The 7% haste is just too weak, most poeple will already have a haste item with a higher percentage. So it doesn't stack <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=" />If it had some DPS mod or spell dmg increase instead it would definately own, and not be some other transmuter loot <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=" />Courtesy of Xanadu Community, hope it's ok <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img mce_tsrc=" />

Hm. Stats scream Crusader item... Range slot, don't get a ton of stuff there... 7% haste isn't bad compared to times when you'd have 0 haste giving up a high haste item for a more defensive item, since the 2 don't mesh very often. If you think it sucks so bad, then you're either A) raiding something well beneath you or B) Looking for KoS to yield an item far beyond most of the rest of the loot. It' even better than the Amulet of the Foresworn, which requires killing the dragons... this requires far less to get. If it had spell damage or dps mod it would own. Unfortuantely, Spell Damage wasn't added to the game until Echoes of Faydwer, and dps mod wouldn't do a whole lot for the classes that can use it. And frankly, for any crusader raiding in KoS, it does own.

Cloak of Flames is easy to do (with a little effort) and provides haste, Hitpoints, and stamina. You can't get much more defensive then that.If you think it sucks so bad, then you're either A) raiding something well beneath you or B) Looking for KoS to yield an item far beyond most of the rest of the loot. This is an EoF item, not KoS as you seem to think. It' even better than the Amulet of the Foresworn, which requires killing the dragons... this requires far less to get. You can't really compare it to Amulet of the Foresworn as it is different slots and that item has much more haste. If it had spell damage or dps mod it would own. I would like to point out here and now that I fail at Eq2.Somehow I had it in my head this was an item from Halls of Seeing. Therefore, I recind my previous statement and have to go with agreeing with the OP.This item is just as much a booby prize as the Dark Bangle... after the 2nd or 3rd nobody cares anymore.Even if we never have seen this one drop.My bad all the way. Thanks, Dogmae.
