Just been cranking out a stack of arrows for next week's raiding and I noticed that my power didn't seem to have dropped at all, even if I spammed the power cost reactive arts.Upon further inspection, it seems that I get a bunch of power regenerated when I either a) get a critical success or b) finish making something pristine.I'm a level 70 WoodWorker so this power regen isn't related to a "mini-ding" at all.Is this a new feature I missed, a bug, or something that's been around for ages but I've been too lazy to notice ? Either way, I like it <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />EDIT: Did some further testing and it's definately related to countering events. I don't recall ever seeing power regenerated after countering an event before but it's definately doing it now. I'm wondering if the power regen at end is due to an event that doesn't get displayed. I'll do some more tesing and see if I can tie it down.

The first ones? In that case it takes hardly any power at all, so your natural/food regen would always keep you maxed.

I believe I too noticed this last night when crafting tanned leather back packs on my armorer. I was spamming my abilities and getting pristines each time, yet never had a power depletion problem.

Hmm I think there is something here .. Lastnight I noticed a really low power usage but didnt think anything of it. I did run out of power once when I had RNG HATE and forgot to recast the power totem regen.

Well I didn't change anything! It's worth noting though that sometimes successfully countering a tradeskill event can give you additional benefits which can include a power buff (or health buff). Perhaps you got a few of these.

I can tell you that as a low 60's (and climbing) weaponsmith I certainly wasn't getting power back with pristine combines. Perhaps since you are 70 each combine is treated as a mini-ding? I didn't notice this with my 70 provisioner, but then he doesn't exactly need to spam the power using abilites anyway. :p

With my 37 jeweler and my 30 tailor, I wasn't getting full power on pristines making recipes that didn't give me a mini-ding.

I'm not getting any power replenishment on making a pristine item on my 40-something woodworker. However, I have noticed that my power seems to be replenishing during crafting this past week at a much quicker rate than it normally seems to. Maybe just my imagination though!

I had my provi at the stove last night from level 26 to 28. Made a couple stacks worth of grub and completed 2 writs. Other than actual mini-dings I didn't see any power spikes. The RNG was rather merciful in big progress hops, however. (woot!) Letting my totem expire made it quite apparently that my power wasn't replenishing any faster than normal. Of course she's a coercer so her power regen is rather nice to start with.
