Request for manual for using the forum - post tags

I really can't figure out how to format posts in this forum software.  (Heck, I don't even see the name of the forum software anywhere that I might go to the developer's site and read the documentation.)  How the heck do I edit my posts with ordinary tags such as if those aren't it?  Or how do I change the editing mode so that I look at exact message source only?  (I still edit my own HTML for sites in source in notepad exclusively.)  Could we just get a manual for the forum stickied in here?  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
