I ran out of patience searching for a possible solution that didn't require me to be a server administrator for Sony. When I try to access everquest2.station.sony.com, it gives me a download dialogue box asking me to download content type httpd/unix-directory. Usually it means the Apache server isn't correctly configured for a subdomain, but if this were the case, a lot of people would be having the problem. Has anyone else run into this problem or have a suggestion for fixing this? I've tried it in both Firefox and IE with the same results.

Did that recently (since the problem started) to fix a problem with league scoreboards in another forum. (Turned out to be a cookie problem there.) Anything else?

I actually have this happen all the time as well. Usually if I cancel the download and try to go the website again, within a try or two the actual website will load.I've just been too lazy I guess to make a thread about it Thanks for bringing it up!(PS: My primary browser is Firefox 2.0 running on Windows Vista)

Tried that too, still not working in either browser. It's not exactly critical, I really only go to the site for the forums, but it seems weird that it doesn't affect anyone else, meaning you'd usually suspect the browser, but I can't access the page in any browser. My ISP isn't blocked somehow, is it? (I somehow doubt they'd block an ISP from part of the site but not the whole site, and there's no way an ISP would block just one subdomain for a given company. )

Still having this issue in all browsers, is this related to domain alias issue I'd seen some dev post in some other forum recently? (I can't remember which and I can't find it now. :/ ) Again, it's not exactly critical since I can get to the forums, but it bugs me to leave something broken that seems like it should be easy to fix.
