Sorry to burst the bubble of Soe, but Update 38 is not only lame but it's a complete ode to laziness.

First off it's coming late. Should have already happened by now, no more excuses about fan faire and RoK they are normal every year things that occur and should not affect production cycles in a well run organization.

Second, where is the Shard of Fear and Plane of Hate? Those zone should be introduced mid-september, and this current fraud of an update should have happened already.

I'd say more, but seriously there is nothing more to be said.

Wow, I had no idea the universe revolved around you. I can sum this up with the following:

...

I'd say more, but I think your brilliance speaks for itself.

1) They never said that an update HAS to happen on a schedule. The fact that the devs have been working and delivering content almost to a timed degree just means they have been doing a great job of keeping things up to date... any apparent delay is just that... apparent. If they always did the updates on a schedule, whether it was complete or imcomplete would just lead to alot of misfortunes.

2) Shard of Fear and Plane of Hate are planned AFTER the release of RoK. Go read the RoK notes again to see this. They are intended as the medium progression line after the starter raid zones are cleared... 3 Starter raid zones... then later on, a big group zone and a medium level raid zone.

3) There is alot more to be said, but it doesn't suit you to say it.. for example, There is a new Deity... There is new Fluff armor.. There are new provisioner advanced books (seriously, took 2 years to get advanced books for provisioners). There are now quests to get specific advanced books, there are more house items... there are TONS of new stuff coming in to the game. The only debatable "unwanted" thing that will be coming in LU38 is the status loot change... and this is being done with a good intention in mind: making guild levels mean something, instead of a status you buy with money.

One thing is sure.. something upset you, and I doubt its the lateness of the release, or the 2 new zones that are not due to be out till 2008. Care to explain?

That was odd.

Oh dear it took 2 extra weeks to put out.6 weeks = a good development cycle actually there should be less bugs.

Lame? LAME?!?! I think not! Yeah - waiting the extra bit of time can make ya a little anxious, but as others have said before - do you want it right? or right now? Personally - I think most of the stuff coming in 38 is great! And it should be here in a few days.

To the OP :

Making a post like that - accusing the DEVs of fraud and whatnot is a good way to get yourself banned. I respectfully suggest you edit it to say something a little less troll-ish.

Originally it was good then it went bad. Now SOE have shown that they do listen to the players and have made it mostly good again.

Alright the status loot thing is a black mark but everything else looks great. Really looking forward to the update now - even with the status loot change.
