Maybe I'm crazy..but is something up with Luclin. It's spinning differently and looks like it's broken into three distinct pieces now, one of which is like spinning around as it spins around with the moon. I dont know if its a bug or theres really supposed to be something up with it..but its definately..different..now..

Luclin has been spinning in orbit since the game went live. Nothing changed about it, since it's always been in three large chunks.

I don't know, the other day I looked up at Luclin and it did look kinda different to me as well. It seemed that the 3 chunks were moving ever so slightly and it just look different then it used to. It could just be my imagination too but I couldn't help but looking up and thinking that it did indeed look different.

I'll have to look myself to see if there is something new but luclin's always had several different pieces and rotated in the sky (with different parts showing at various times).

<p>I agree that there is definately something up with lucling moon.</p><p>Especially when you complete TNT, it re-appears there as well.</p><p> In Qeynos Harbor... the Luclin Moon is more vivid than it has every been, and the light emitting from it.. seems.. different than before</p>

<p>Luclin appears in the Throne of New Tunaria because Queen Elizerain prophesied the Shattering. When she died, her prophecies were passed to Queen Lenya Thex and were put into a gem in her possession. When you beat the zone, you get this gem and use it on the throne to unlock a vision of one of the prophecies... the Shattering.</p>

Yeah, and this is why, before you fight Mayong, he says that the gem is useless. Because the prophecy was already realized.

I don't notice anything different with Luclin.

Yeah there's nothing going on with it. I think you people just don't quite remember what it looks like exactly at every angle in the game, or from what time of day.

<p>Guys, people have been saying since day 1 "Luclin looks different now than it did when I started playing".</p><p>It doesn't, unless you've fiddled with your graphic settings.</p>
I still wonder about Luclin and what the heck is going on. There are dwarves digging out a piece in the old ruins with those Academy people from Freeport studying the ruins. We also see the Orcs near Crushbone keep forcing slaves to dig pieces of Luclin up.

<p>It looks inverted to me. Originally when I started playing EQ2, it was at an angle. Now it's at an / angle.</p><p>Probably just does that over time, I imagine.</p>

<p>You sure you're not looking up at the sky with a difference of facing north or south?</p><p>Anyways, Amana. Luclinite has magical properties. It's a foreign matter to Norrath. What race wouldn't want a chance to study it?</p>

In SS we see two pieces of luclin surrounded by animated cobra skeletons. There is a piece that is doing nothing in The Ruins near Willow wood and Bubbleshire. Not to mention there is a piece in NQ that has water trickling on it that seems to keep the water almost pristinely pure. On the other hand there is a piece in Antonica with mutated rats, swamp snakes and the like using it as their home. </p><p>It's almost as if each piece of luclin has different peculiar properties that augment the surroundings or the pieces themselves are augmented by the surroundings. I'm just curious why only the dwarves are investigating the piece in The Ruins and there are no personel from the mage tower there. For the mage tower people luclin would be an interesting item to study...wouldn't it be? </p>

<p>i read this thread and it reminds me of that occurence where one person walks around (faking it) and complains of having an itch (or the sniffles, a cold.. the flu... whatever) and then another "thinks" they have it.. then another and another. the next day you get people calling off and so on.</p><p>"I saw the moon move different!" </p><p>"Ya, me too!"</p><p>"Come to think of it, it did seem to be rotating around 3 degrees off its axis from yesterday."</p><p>"Hey, the penumbra also has a shade of grey that is 12.5 lumins darker then 4th thursday of 2003 in march!"</p><p><img src="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/images/smilies/2786c5c8e1a8be796fb2f726cca5a0fe.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" /></p><p>Luclin went boom. end of story. game over. watch the other moon and see what it's doing instead. Luclin isnt the one to watch anymore.</p>

But I'm pretty sure any large chunks are well stuck up there... the little bits, now who knows there. But yeah, people have been saying Luclin looked different every day since the game went live. It's still the same, it's appearance changes depending on when/where you are. I'm quite sure that if something was up there, it'd be quite... erm... obvious.Unless Vhalen was responsible for it. But I think he's swamped right now so I don't think thats the case. But hes the only one I think capable of such trickery <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
