Problem on trail

<p>So I finally convinced a wow/eq1 friend to try the trail of eq2. She has downloaded and patched but is having problems logging in. She is running vista. She says she runs as administrator, is running in xp mode and also had made it so Norton is allowing eq2 to access the net. Any ideas?</p><p>The following is what the game is saying</p><p>"the trial version will run the patcher and then I get the screen with "Play the Fae" and then I get a blue box that says "connection to logon Server #2, #3, #4, #5 ...etc and then says "Servers may be busy...Please try again later"</p>

It's only because all servers are down right now :/....  They screwed up and are trying to put the game back on track.

All servers are down right now...no ETA yet on when they will be back online

I was just starting to realize this after I posted, due to the guy who didn't like the EU ones being down also. How long do these generaly last? I am new to eq2 myself

<p>Now she is getting invalid syntax error after character creation and it boots her. Any ideas?</p><p>She is also saying something about a super fast message she cant read that says something about character</p>
