Hi there. I posted some signatures over in the Signature forum, but I thought I'd post some full images here. There are all digital paintings and drawings plus pencil images of our two EQ characters. I tried to cut down the image sizes but they still might be slow loading.I hope you enjoy them!UPDATE: Please contact me through my website linked below if you are interested in artwork. You may also PM me, but it might take longer for me to reply because I more frequently lurk, then actually log in.Paintings:(Digitally painted from a pencil drawing)Digital Sketches/Drawings:Pencil Drawings:The last two ask a couple of important questions:What happens when the hero gets the girl?and...What is the question that scares men the most?

They are fantastic. I love the the way you capture the racial stereotypes and the interracial conflicts, yet still manage to express the love between these two.

Thank you very much, Turtle!Valkry, thank you. Amusing images of these two frequently pop into my head. He's dark and gloomy, and elegant, and she's so... well homey and not elegant at all.Cadori and Seagoat, thank you as well. It's taken me a lot of practice, and I am not anywhere near where I'd like to be.(And Seagoat, I don't have anywhere near the level of experience with Photoshop that you have, despite the fact that I've been working in it for seven years or more. )Also, I was in a hurry yesterday and forgot to post another image:This one is a work in progress that I started to practice going straight from a not very detailed digital sketch. It's actually much bigger, but, since the rest of his figure is just sketched lines, I cropped the rest. Finally, feel free to visit my gallery, linked below.

Hehe, no PhotoShop for me...I'm a Paint Shop Pro girl!

Seriously, beautiful stuff. I started to try my hand at a digital painting of my main the other night, but it's really intimidating!

What tools do you use, if you don't mind sharing? I started with an airbrush and made different layers for the different skin tones, but I know some folks prefer the lighten/darken brush or the dodge/burn brush on a single layer.

Seagoat, sorry for the delayed reply, I was gone for the last few days.I am a lazy artist so I don't use very many brushes. And, I've never even added any new ones. So, what I do use are the airbrush and a solid-non spreading brush for the most part. I use the former for shading and the latter for laying down heavy color (like base color.) The only other thing I do is vary the opacity and width of the brushes. Now, occasionally I mess with other brushes, but, for me, they never seem to be able to achieve any textures that I like, or can't do better by hand.Thank you for asking!

Having fun at someone elses expense is what we dark elves do best.

This is true. Unfortunately, Eibon IS the dark elf. So, being the target of jokes often makes him even more cranky then he is.
