I've been playing this game for almost 3 years now. One area of frustration is finding peeps that want to work on the same quests you are working on. Almost everyone has this problem and aside from risking getting on peoples "ignore" list about all you can do is channel talk to try and find peeps or look for peeps on the "find players" screen. This is really insufficient.

What would be really helpful is if we could enter quest grouping events so peeps could have the ability to post a time and a quest, and starting quest step that they would like to work on, and amount of commitment time requried for the activity, and let other peeps apply to book for a slot in the group. The person setting up the quest run would have the right to cherry pick the peeps they feel would make the best group and in addition a couple of people could be selected as alternates incase of a no show. The final group would have to be frozen about 1 hr prior to the group starting and the server would autmoatically group everyone that is currently not in a group at the schedule start time with a reminder notice that the planned event is about to start say 15 min in advance or so.

Peeps that are rejected from the selection process can be mailed through the system by the leader with an kind explanation as to why they were not accepted and thank them for asking.

The group creater would also have the ability to designate things like minimum level requried and maximum number of each class type for example no more than 2 priests woudl be accepted etc.

I know peeps will say, "what's the matter, don't you have any friends to help you etc...." I don't need to hear it. The fact is we all have difficulties pursing the harder group quests that interest us, usually with uber gear and it would make enormously easier to find people of like interest with such a system thus everyone would be happy.

Another quality factor can be that each peep gets a score for being present when the quest is scheduled to start. This is visible to other players who are interested in siging up for the quest group but don't want to waste time with bogus requests to join the group. The higher the score the more reliable the person is viewed as being. Missing a commitment detracts 1 point from the score. Further the system would show out of the last 5 times they used the system how many times did they show up. Alternately the leader could set this point at the start or end of the agreed upon run time of the quest.

Another statistic is the number of quests completed with scheduled groups by each peep so people can get an idea how successful the leader is.

Also each peep that signs up for a group can see who is accepted into the group as the leader so they don't end up getting into a group they don't feel is balanced enough when compared to thier own toon type.

Each peep can have the right to book one such time slot during any time period as much as they want with say 15 min break between each scheduled event.

Such a system is not required most of the time as I do have good success in getting into groups every day and having fun. I think such as system however is really useful if you want to focus in on specific heritage quests, chain quests or raids. This also allows for greater particiption by peeps in higher end activities that only uber guilds can typically do as this system would not necessarily have to be limited to just your own guild members but rather you could open it up to all peeps on the server so long as the acceptance criteria is met.

I'm sure there are lots of players that have better ideas than this for a system along these lines so I welcome any suggestions and I hope this gets to the Devs for consideration.
