Ok, I have a thread going in the zerker forums, but I think I want opinions from each specific group Im considering for a leveling partner.

**This thread will be posted in the Mystic, Fury, Inquisitor, Warden, and Dirge forums**

Key considerations:

-My Zerker is currently only 15, but I'm looking for a long term benefit. Just because 1 class will be excellent arond my current level doesnt mean it will be as effective when I hit 50, or 60, or higher.

-90% of my attention will be focused on the Zerker in most cases. A macro to /follow [Zerker], /assist [Zerker] and /target [Zerker] will be necessary, along with a couple heals/HoT's/Wards/etc. If the best duo with a zerker requires more effort than blindly pressing the 1-5 buttons ([Macro] [Macro] [Heal] [Heal] [Damage]), then its no good for me.

-Buffs are as important as heals. At this point at least, my zerker can chain whites and hardly have to rest. This may change as I progress, but I have never had a character past lvl 27, and that was 3 years ago.

Ty for your time and your suggestions.

I box with this combo and really like it. Spores, + offensive skills (so you can tank in defense), damage shield and power buff compliment the zerker well. If you melee spec the warden, you'll get an open air AoE to add the zerker's several. Increased SoW + evac and ports is great for questing. You can also go zerker / fury, you'll have more nuking power, but I find it easier to box the warden combo with the melee spec as the auto attack on the warden procs the group heal, along with spores means I can spend more time on the zerker's combat arts and less time healing.Good luck!

The mele warden would make a nice auto follow buff bot ... But it is a significant investment to fully maxamize the mele options. However , Building the str line first to get the auto attack heal would be my first choice (does the zerker buff mele skills for the group?) if so , putting the wardens single target mele skill buff on the zerker would be ok , And put a fast delay weapon in the hands of the warden , even though the heal proc is normalized , the miss % wouldnt be as noticeable with a quicker weapon.

IMO the fast reaction of the warden heals would be better while duel boxing , Plus If you wanted to dump some dmg half way through the fight with the warden , The CA's are really good for that. And of course you wouldnt have to buy the dmg spell upgrades becuz they level with the warden. So more money to spend on your Zerker .

Zerkers buff str, combat regen, and berserk (dps). So while the warden is buffing the zerker, the zerker is also buffing the melee warden. It's a win/win!

I duo box my Warden with a Guard and with Spores on she hardly ever has to heal unless its real tough stuff, I may be hitting a HOT a bit into the fight but that's usually it. Go for it! Actually thinking of betraying the Guard to a Zerker... /ponders

My zerker is only level 44 while my warden is level 70 but this combo works well for me. With the wardens buffs and heal over time spells I spend most of my time on the zerker. If I ever level my zerker up to my wardens level this combo will probably work better than my swashbuckler/warden combo because of the zerkers heavier armor. The only things missing are group invis and tracking.

I like this duo a lot (/wink)...

no, seriously...depending on what you are fighting, Warden healing should be about all you need for healbotting. Cleric and Shaman require a bit more attention to heals since once Reactives and Wards are used up or breached, healing is slow and has to be paid attention to. NOT that Warden is ezmode, just that we have spores for heal proc (which is a nice tidy amount of healing overall).

Else its really nice utility with SoW, evac and portals

One tip for the follow-makro .. start it with /stop follow ... because if you are in follow and the main uses horse-stations, after that follow won't work, also the menu-entry is greyed out.
