I picked up a WCP last Sat. and I've been parsing in raids since then. Honestly, my numbers didn't change much at all over grizzfazzle's. This kind of makes sense if you think about it though. We don't have any really big hitting spells, 8% of lets say 5k (a somewhat decent crit sonic boom) is only an extra 400 damage. On the lower spells that we spam (Stroke, DoT's, etc) it's alot less. Combine that with the fact that we can proc grizzfazzle's off any hostile spell (stun, stifle, marred psyche, chrono, etc) and there isn't going to be a big change.8% is alot better for the big spell hitters, like wizards. It's kind of a wash for fast-casting enchanters with a decent proc item.

That's basically the difference between a fixed number and a %. The higher the numbers the % affects, the more it gets.. whereas the proc is fixed and will stay the same.So a class that has a large damage point will benefit more.I've taken a look at these two weapons with regards to melee (now with the new Strength line changes on Test), and since Grizz has such a large damage range, it benefits more from Crits...With the crits given from the new Strength line, Grizzfazzle ends up matching overall DPS of the weaker damage range but higher DR weapons such as the Plasma wand.Grizz was just a very well thought out weapon for it's time, and still competes.

Ok i was tradied the wand while in unreast and was just going to ask the same question. SO if the concensus is that its not that much of a improvment ill just sell it
