I noticed when someone does any small amount of damage (maybe even no damage, not sure on this yet) and then punts you/fears off a cliff or island (in say BS) you lose the fight giving up a chest/reward and loss of infamy.

It used to be like this and i'm sure the developers changed it to requiring 50% damage to be done.. now it seems they have changed it back perhaps because of all the cliff divers /shrug

IMO it should have been ~25% minimum damage not "you have been hit for 56 damage" followed by "your have been feared" followed by "you lose infamy/coin and take 10% damage hit to armor".

Comments?

working as intended. If you get punted or feared off a cliff, it's yer own fault for letting it happen.

Yeah it's the way it is... You got fear by a spell that make you completly out of control, the worst nightmare you never imagine is happening to you in your mind... Bozidar wrote:
working as intended. If you get punted or feared off a cliff, it's yer own fault for letting it happen.
comments like this are not realistic. If resists worked in PVP, then perhaps this comment would have merit. As it stands now, if you get feared or punted off a cliff, it's oh well. Perhaps it's your fault for not being in a good group, or not being higher level or some other lame-a$$ comment people like this one make.

I don't know at the begining it look realistic to get feared and fall down of a cliff... I was just joking with my answer about casters... But you are telling that you get out of a cloud got feared without been able to do anything , maybe it's a problem...

Fear spells aren't instant cast. So you land at the cloud, someone is targeting you... unless you have a slow computer that doesn't render quickly enough, you have a few seconds reaction time to either get farther in the land, or to fly off again.Whenever you get feared, quickly hit crouch. You will move much slower and can't get feared for near the distance. Freedom potions do break it even while being feared. While I find it annoying that people like to camp pads and Fusion, Knockback, and Fear all day long hoping for a few kills (before Fusion got nerfed, every cloud seemed to have a wizard chillin at it just spamming away), it is the state of PvP and the only thing to do is learn to deal with it. And what class scout are you with resists so high? I'm number one for resists on Vox for Assassins, and my resists aren't averaging at 6k lol
