<span class="postbody"></span><span class="postbody">3. Confusing/Hard for New Players - This is the most common response ive seen so far and it really really disturbs me. If you were worried about confusing or bothering new players you would have gotten rid of twinking/level locking a LONG LONG time ago. So please, dont use this as an excuse. We've been told its disabled untill level 20 anyway. If you are wanting to please new players on pvp servers and you think that keeping this addition to the game will help them even in the slightest smidgen you are totally wrong. If you want to help new players enjoy the game and the pvp environment then you are in the wrong part of the woods my friend. No new players like this system. Some stay, most dont. People like to fight on even grounds. A new level 17 player would like to fight another level 17 player that doesnt have 7 times more health than him...but you refuse to change that part of the game...and yet you limit this.....The above quote was taken out of another post that has been locked. It seems to imply, rather specifically, that "we've been told it's [xp locking] disabled until level 20 anyway". I would really like to have some response from someone on this particular topic please. Is XP locking going to be changed to have a level 20+ requirement?</span>

He was referring to the fluff armor slots which do not become available until level 20.

Really? What the hell does fluff armor have to do with twinking/level locking on pvp servers?

He was refuting one of the "Anti-fluff for PvP" arguments, which was that fluff appearence items would make it harder for new players in that they couldn't effectively judge their opponent. He was comparing the difficulty new players encounter because of level locked twinks to the possible difficulty due to the introduction of fluff appearence items. He concludes that the argument holds little weight, and if that was one of the reasons SOE initially chose to disable fluff items, they would be bettter served in helping new players by eliminating level lcoking.

<p>ya know...this goes along with the "must wear heavier items" Learn to judge your opponents by buffs... Whats the difference if a tank walks around looking like a clothy when he can just equip a stats robe, than a clothy wearing fluff plate....fluff is fluff learn to judge by buffs. Most say "To the <class's> group"</p>
