The seas are still to dangous between the "knowen" Shadderedlands and the "Unknown" Islands... that and Highborn is the Far Seas Trading companies homebase and I don't think they take kindly to vistors. In other words some day there will be an expaintion that adds those islands to the game. However, you where not screwed because everyone knew what islands where available at launch and currently. Heck, I beleave it was only an expantion ago(if it is even in game yet) that EQLive got Looping Plains though its been on thier map sence Faydwar was first discovered... In an MMO you have to have some plans for descovering areas or you will grow stagnant. I think the truth is they origanally planed to add places like Highborn in as its own (6 month) expaintion just like with Ro(DoF), but because now they have changed course and are into the Huge expaintion Idea just one of those islands are just not big enough for an expaintion.

Highbourne is a new continent, rumored to be made of a section of old Antonica north of the Rathe Mountains but south of Qeynos.

yea i know it makes sence, I just have this wanderlust you see, and everytime i look at the p&p map, I start imagining what the Moors of Yekesha would look like, as well as the other islands. Well i'll just keep a small hope alive for those areas someday.

If it's any consolation, those areas are still considered to officially exist in EQ2's world, meaning that they're prime expansion territory, at least in my opinion.

Personally, I'd like to see some free content or an expansion dedicated to filling in the rest of this on the in game map.

maybe these areas, would be great developed as adventure packs, but maybe just a little bigger than fallen dynasty.

Highborn was planed to be released when the game first came out. but was scrapped due to time constrates and technical errors with what they wanted the zone to do.

Maybe they can do an Odus expantoin next and give us the rest of antonica with it since most every one who mentions Odus is always like its too small for one expantion. Well if that is the case they should do Odus and rest of antonica.

Or maybe do pieces of antonica as LUs after Kunark comes. That would be a very cool thing i think?
