This may be a bit harsh, but oh well, it's how I am.I think the single biggest mistake people make getting into the fury class is they just don't get the class. From day one we were designed to be a nuking priest. We give up utility but we get huge dps for a healer, with not so bad healing abilities (i.e. a good fury will always outparse every crappy healer in a raid other than maybe a defiler). My stance has always been we're the healer class that isn't stuck just healing...if you wanted that why didn't you make any other class but a fury? Did you play a fury in the days when we were abysmally underpowered in every way? Did you spend over a year in the beginning wishing you could do the job the class was designed for at least in my eyes? SoE caters too much to the people who want cookie cutter classes. Why don't we just have one fighter/mage/healer/scout that can do everything each archetype does now if that's the case?As far as our aa trees sucking...Bwhahahaha. I'm not even going to go off on that, it's too funny. Read the other class forums then come back and tell me how bad our tree is. I agree on us being a bit on the weak side of healing, but our tree on the EoF side is far from garbage. It allows us to be different from every other healer class, and I can't see why anyone would want it to be different in ways not regarding healing. Far as our power pool...I don't think I've ever had a power issue with this class, even in the old days we've always had more power than any healer but a warden. And we can come close to having as much power as them even in the end game. No other healing class but warden compares to us in power pool. We don't have much power regen it's true...unless you take animal form and are willing to argue with raid leaders for the right to joust mobs. Other than raids animal form is viable for every instance of grouping and soloing...power shouldn't ever be an issue.Main thing is though...I've played a fury a long long time, and if all we did was stand there, heal and debuff like every other class I'd be bored out of my gourd, and I don't doubt more than a few others would feel the same.Edit: I agree with our EoF set being garbage.

<p>I don't mean any offense by this, but if you feel that way, Warden might be a better class for you.  The devs appear to have the vision of the Fury as a hybrid healer/mage, so if you don't want to DPS as well as heal Fury might not be the best class for you.  As a Fury in a decent raid, the only time you'll be healing people anyway is spike damage on the tank, AoEs (if you can't prevent it), and lifeburning necros.  All other times you should be DPSing.</p><p>That being said, Animalism and Vortex are both uber AAs if you ask me.  Sure Vortex doesn't help your healing power - actually hurts it - but it does improve DPS signficantly.  The other two end lines are pretty awful, but then again, most of the things in those trees are pretty bad anyway (at least for PvE).</p><p>As for the class set, most every class I've talked to complains about the bonuses being pretty stupid.  So although I am disappointed with them, I don't know that it's really any different from most other classes.</p>

I mean you get a fast weapon and it's 0 - 100% in ~30s.</p><p>The faster casting Abolishment with the set bonus is also a very nice group / raid ability, but you'd have to actually understand the class to appreciate the value. Also, the Warden chest is +30 or something stupid to their AE nuke, which they can't even use if they have a melee spec, and both Warden and Fury legs give a bonus to the group heal.</p><p>As others have said, if you don't want to DPS, play a Warden, they're a better choice if you can't do two things at once.</p>

I have no problems with the fury aa tree.. And the only problem I have with the fabled set is the +ministration on 7 item ability and as stats on some of the pieces, which is as far as I know completely useless as it does nothing to help healing... The 3 item ability for +dmg on call of storms is also rather useless but its the same for all classes I think... At least I think its much better than the set I got on my assassin, with +agility and wisdom instead of strength and int and other useless crap... All the fury pieces have both +wis and +int which is great.

<p><b><span style="font-size: x-small;">I would like to know what capacity you use your fury in.  I am a raiding fury and with some effort I usally am third on the healing parse behind the MT shammy (usually defiler) and the other MT healer (cleric).  I also am parsing from 1000 to 1400 DPS at the same time.  If i go all DPS which I am asked to do on trash mobs I can parse over 1400, just depends on if the mages in my group are trying to get themselves killed (i.e. doing their jobs), then i have to pay a little attention to them.  You really need to re-think your class if you think furies need to be tweaked in any way.  Furies rule.  BTW I have a defiler and they are the better healer, but Furies can DPS and heal a group at the same time better than any other class imo.</span></b></p><p>Also Animalism goes great with a fury especiallly if you have infusion, cuz it procs on every healing spell, and if you pay attention when it is on is procs for every group member when you cast a group heal, from hibernate to your Group hoT.  It eats up power but when you can cast Animalism on yourself and get your power back quickly the proc is worth the extra DPS.  I was just healing, not DPS'ing and healed 2nd on the parse and still achieved 700 DPS with just throwing my DoT's on the mob.  gotta say it again FURIES RULE!!!!!!!!!!</p>
