drag and drop EQ files to new pc?

I have a new laptop on order (Vista) and wondered if I could copy my Sony folder (XP) over to the new laptop after installing EQ2 so that I can avoid the huge patch again?  It's a major issue for me, as I am on satellite and it takes me nearly a week to be able to get all the updates if I have to patch from the beginning.

yup you can just copy the foler over and start play right away. No need to install the game from CD first.

Oh excellent!  Thanks!  I thought I'd remembered reading that here once, but wasn't sure going from XP to Vista if I could still do that.
