I would like a little input from some other wizards regarding this. I had a few points into the ward, then read that I really should get Manaburn.. I am having trouble seeing the benefit.. 20 pts. for a 5 min Nuke. Just seems like I am throwing away a lot of AA to get a Nuke with such a long cool down. I am a new wizard and new/returning player.. I am having a hell of a time figuring out where to put my AA. I solo almost exclusively and I am level locked most of the time for question purposes (I am a quest [Removed for Content]). Obviously if I take Manaburn I end up at the bottom of the tree.. However, if I do decide on 10 pts. in the ward.. what do I do with the other 40? Is it viable to put 10 into the ward, 20 into Manaburn and the last 20 into frost for example? I have already respecced 2x.. I am so confused. Some help would really be appreciated.

I'm in a similar boat, being a level 21 wizard. I loved the idea of getting Manaburn for the flashy bang bang, but since I solo a lot as well, I decided to go for the ward. It's going to keep you alive, and it's useful all the time, as opposed to Manaburn, which is really only useful as an emergency nuke, or to finish off a named mob. For me, I'm going 10 into Magi's Shielding, and then going back to the KoS tree to fill out the Stamina line, for less resists and more survivability. Since survivability is our downfall, I figure making up for that early on will make the rest of my wizardly life a lot easier <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
