Does anyone know if there is any item or ability that grants the caster Fae illusion?

No, there isn't. Maybe we'll get lucky and one of the special LoN cards will give it.

Freaking parrot on your shoulder? LON. /kills LON

I HATE that most of the cool stuff in game is from LoN. I wish they would have all the nice stuff IN THE GAME.

You can be every other race with a collection. Why not fae/arasai and iksar?

LON should have no relation whatsoever to EQ2 except maybe that feature where you can challenge someone to LON in EQ2 (does anyone even use that?).

I'm not sure, but is this what you mean?http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/An_indisc...olution_(faerie)I bought it in the Sinking Sands, haven't tried it out yet and it only lasts for 5 minutes but maybe something's better than nothing

If they want rare, make things a rare drop/rare collection. LoN items simply require throwing tons of money at Smeds RMT scheme. Its sad, for me personally seeing a char with a ton of LoN items my first thought is not, "wow, cool" but "wow, what a sucker". Unfair, I know, but it is what I think.

You don't have to play LoN to have access to loot cards. With it being a loot card in LoN, SOE can determine exactly how many players can have an item. They can say "OK this thing is super awesome we're only gonna put out 15 of it." If it was an in-game collection or drop every player could have the expectation of acquiring the item at some point, and eventually it would become not so cool. I don't know how familiar you are with WoW, but there is a cool looking bear mount that can only be gotten from doing a certain number of bosses in a 10 man instance within a time limit. At first these mounts were extremely rare and cool, now everyone who wants one can get it. To say "Oh you can only have this item if you kill this boss, but it will only drop once" will cause too many problems, and then there would be a ton of people here saying how slighted they are because only raiders could get an item or something else. As it stands, anyone can have these things, and that's fair.Plus, the card game worked for WoW, and if it works for WoW, EQ2 will eventually get it.

TYVM for the link to that buyable from SS... very cool... Does anyone know what the name of the loot card from LoN is? I am trying to get something together as an "angel" costume for our guild's halloween party, and was hoping that if there was an illusion out there, the white robe i made to go with it will be visable on the illusion... Maybe this is possible with the LoN card?THANKS!!!

I suppose that is fair..everyone can be a sucker. Not hard, not a challenge, available to anyone willing to type that CC number into a field enough times.Game rewards in THIS game should come from playing THIS game, and not EQ-Gi-Oh.And the worst of it is.. every "cool" item given to LoN to promote this RMT crap is ONE LESS item we will ever see implemented in the actual game. Disgusting that things they have told us for years "couldn't be done" magically appeared as LoN crap.

^ There isn't one. Everyone in this thread was griping about how all the cool illusions and house items come from LoN, but made no mention that a Fae or Arasai illusion existed. If I remember correctly, it was because turning into the illusion would have probably given them the float ability or something like that.

It's a non-issue at this time in the game, but I don't think they intend on putting Fae, Arasai, or Sarnak illusions into the game.

Naubitzi@Crushbone wrote:

You can be every other race with a collection. But I feel the same way about items we've requested for years like the invisible armor being made limited time quest rewards. Really poor implementation, things like that and many of the basic house items that were put in with the Tempest quest were requested endlessly. It was a real slap in the face to have them made limited time only, and QUEST rewards rather than player made. On the other hand, at least they weren't LoN loot cards....
