I have a pretty decent system, and ive never been able to play in groups or raids on any graphics setting but high performance or lower, and even that lags. Its not my internet connection, i have a 10 mbps cable and going to 20 mbps fios connection on monday (cant wait, lol)My system specs:AMD athlon 64x2 4600+ (overclocked to 2.6 ghz)2 gigs of ddr2 800gigabyte GA-59SLI-S5 moboXFX 8800GTS 640mb video cardWestern Digital 74 gig 10000rpm sata raptor drive.Windows xp proNow this system should be able to run on at least high quality with minimal lag, no? Ive cleaned up the registry, gotten rid of spyware and adware, ect... and it runs like crap. Ive tried the dual core optimizer and that made it worse. Im debating on getting an AMD 6000+ processor, and another 2 gigs of ram. This thing ran vanguard decently on max settings, whats the deal with eq2? I turned virtual memory off and that gave me a little bit of a boost but not much. Im gonna reformat today and get the latest drivers, ect and see where that gets me.Anyone have any suggestions as to what i can do to tweak the settings or whatever? It aggrivates me to no end on raids, i lag so much by the time i cast one spell the mob is dead.

Have you tried forcing EQ2 to run on one core? (i am not sure if it already does that)

Can you post your DX Diag? Maybe its a driver problem
