Procs on Double Attack/Dragoon's Cyclone?

<p>Hello fellow guardians, I know this question has probably been asked before but I just wanted to clarify. Do weapons like Ascendant proc on the second hit of a double attack? And does Dragoon Cyclone's 40% melee AE have a chance to proc weapons?</p><p>Currently I am 4/4/8 on Str/Sta/Agi and am wondering whether I should stick with Vilucidae's or switch to Ascendant for the hate proc if it has a chance to proc on our AA DA/AEs.</p><p>Thanks!</p>

I'm 4/8/8/2/1 agi 4/4/8 sta 4/5 int i believe. I know for a fact that the agi frontal ae procs on every target seperately. The double attack i believe was changed so that only the primary hit procs.

My experience is also that the 40% frontal has the weapon proc, but not the double attack's second hit, and no weapons dont proc their effect on the second hit of double attack.

<p>Now to complicate things further......</p><p> Do you get the chance to double attack on a aoe attack, so if the 40% aoe passes do i still get a chance for that to be doubled?</p><p>(even if its only the 9% from EoF AA not the STA line)</p>

But effects that proc 1.8 times per minute and all that jazz SHOULD still be proccing on the second attack. The only time this could get confusing is if you've had awhile auto attacking without a CA to see the spaces of the double attack and the running together of the melee may seem that it procs off the second hit.</p><p>For the further complication: No.</p><p>If you do an AE attack (Beseige/Dragoon Spin) then you have a chance to have your weapon proc(s) plus anything tied to it (CoB/Reinforement/etc etc) but you dont auto attack on the AEs.</p><p><u><b>Double attack from the STA line only applies to your single target auto attack.</b></u> Even if you have the 40% frontal AA, you are only swinging a single attack + weapon procs... not a double attack on the 40%, only your single primary target has the double attack.</p><p>Yes it sucks. Trust me, we all wish double attack went off everything.</p>

With Criticals, VSoS > Acendent.. outparsing it badly. I would not use Acendent. The small Hate proc is overcame easily thru the VSoS's extra damage, almost in 1 swing.
