View Full Version : Tribal Spiritist's Hat vs Helm of Primeval

<p>Is it just me being selfish or what. The Spiritist's Hat as a Legendary item has Cannibilize on it. No it is not that much in the grand scheme of things in the game. It does help and I still run out of mana at times so it is not the difference in my toon being weakling or a god. Then along comes the Helm of Primeval drop, a Fable uber helm and I am forced to make a decision.  Do I  wear it and give up cannibilize, or not wear it and sorta keep my mana going for a bit longer. </p><p> Maybe some one at SOE as an answer for me as to why is it such a big Taboo thing to not have put cannibilize on the Helm of Primeval? I mean it is not like Mystics are going to go wiping the zone with mass dps or even kill a dang triple up mob let alone a named. </p><p>So please  look into adding cannibilize to the Mystic class EOF helm and the Defiler.</p><p>thanks</p><p>Hakeshar</p>

personally I made a macro to switch out my helms. It is a pain but it helps ,I would like to see the helm usable from inventory

<p>That's what I was going to suggest Sandain, hehe. Wear the better item then switch out as you need via the macro. That's what I do with my loads of tinker stuff, vessel and other clicky things that have to be equipped to be used.</p><p>Not that I'd be at all opposed to them actually putting the ability on another item.</p>

( Except for Domino the tradeskill Dev, she is constantly communicating with tradeskillers) </p><p>My initial guess would be because the second they put cannabalize on out Fable helms every other class woll demand an additional effect on their helm as well. And if they did add an additional effect to everyone class helm you wuld definately get a bunch of people who say the effect is useless and change it to something else. With the expansion coming out I doubt the devs have the time to open up that can of worms.  I am not saying I would not like it on our helms but I understand why the dev would hesitate at placing it on our fable helms.</p>

<p>Thanks for the comments. It is just absurd to me to make something like the class hat can make with out something nice for each class so they can get rid of old gear that clutters up inventory. Kind of makes them look like they dont want to mess with the programming or they just dont care. No one can convince me that putting cannibilize on that helm will impeed the game play. It is there on another item in the first place. Maybe doing something like that for folks might improve the PR some.</p><p>Hakeshar</p>

Maybe doing something like that for folks might improve the PR some.</p><p>Hakeshar</p></blockquote>I still need to get this helm.  But that's not my biggest pet peeve.  Simply put out 30+ HQ's there is not one spear that we can use, and we won't get one until the next expansion, i.e. Epics.  Yes, I know there are Fabled ones, but either they are quite expensive or you may not get it on a roll.
