<p>well i am new to eq 2 and i wasnt sure if i wanted to be a pally or a sk im sure this happens alot after posting on the sk forums i was fairley convinced i wanted to roll a sk but i figured id cover all my ground. my main pally question that matters most is can the pally dps now  as far as leveling and raiding goes can he dps. and if he can 2h dps can the paladin do this efficently? so if some one can help me out here so i can make a choice that would be great. thanks alot for any replies in advance.</p>

<p>If you are talking scout level DPS, then no.  But we do ok with the right gear and set ups.  I'm in relatively crappy gear and have hit over 700 dps zw in a raid, I've heard of higher, but these are paladins in high end raiding guilds with exceptionally high end gear.</p>
