chatting with headphones and mic

Hello is it possible to use  headphones and a mic in game instead of typing is there a special program any info would be most appreciated thanks.

you could try Teamspeak or Vent. You wouldn't have a global channel or anything, though. Just whoever's server you logon to or those you give access to your own.

is it free or do i have to pay a fee to use it??

Free as far as I know, but unless you know someone else that already has a server up you'll essentially be talking to yourself. Think of it sort of like the group chat channel... until there's someone else in your group, it's pointless. Anyhow, if you're in a guild they likely have a TS or Vent server set up. Ask your officers about it.
