Worth it to betray to be a zerker?

I was wondering if it was worth it to betray to become a zerker to level faster? I have a guardian, I love tanking with him, but he levels soooo slow solo. And I'm looking at a lot more solo playing, as my group is getting deployed/going on vacation for the next few months. >.< So is the betrayal quest worth it to go through at lvl 52 to become a zerker?

You'll get much more dps and you'll have much more fun in PvE as a zerker, also with the ability to solo.
