Heyya! When i try to make a character and enter the character creation-screen the animated background where you can see your created characters are just black. When i try to make a new one i can create on using the buttons and panels on the sides but i cant see my character while i create it. Any ideas? Edit: Everytime I star the Eq2 launcher it always re-downloads a file named "ZDDS21.vpk" and another named "character-creation" something.

This issue is probabbly related to this post here:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=364919

Check on the second page, near the bottom under my post for a solution, and the posts throughout for an explination of the problem itself. This error can occur in any state of the game, including the one you are describing in this post. It is not isolated to any particular user or system specs, but it does occur with downloaded content or a damaged hard drive.Click on this link, that I have provided for you, to download the files in question. Using the method that I described in the above posted link, this will allow you to copy & paste over the files that you have that are in error. This is a temporary fix. Although it fixes your problem for good, it does not fix the problems source. The source is very difficult to pin down, and my guess is that the techs "are working on it" .Simply copy & paste the files over your old files in your everquest 2 directory, being sure that you replace the files that the patcher attempts to download as you described.__If this issue occurs anywhere else in the game, be sure to check out my link again (the one at the top) for instructions on how to solve your problem with graphic or geometry anomolies. Hopefully if you do have that issue, someone will be able to post working files for you! Hope this helps,Karatta
