Hey guys,

I am having a little problem settling down on a class. Right now I am between a ranger and a warlock. Both are great classes, I like the dps of the both but I am not sure when the classes come into their own so I really know what each is like. Right now the Warlock is 24 and the Ranger is 19. I love doing dmg, either 1v1 or group dmg. Just higher lvl in raids, I never did one, so I am not sure what to expect. So at what lvl does a warlock come into its own because. My play style is that I am the dps of a small team, with some utility. If no Utility, then really good DMG. I already played a wizzy to high lvl and I am only noticing that most of the Warlocks dmg is DD right now so I am kinda thinking I should have just made a freaking Wizzy with all the DD. Anyway wanna see what you guys in the warlock forum thought. Any Advice would be appreciated if anyone was in the same situation.

Thanks,

Syth

Not really getting the question. Are you asking which is better? They are two sides of the same coin. I can't say either is better, merely approach the end from two different directions, as far as mechanics are concerned. They both have massive aggro issues, and they both do massive damage. It's simply a matter of whether you like to focus on one thing at a time, or just be an insane maniac and destroy everything. For the purposes of a raid, most players prefer the wizard because it "fits" better into a the role of the MA & DPS all focusing on one target at a time. Warlocks sort of bust that mold, but the highest parses I've seen -- and this isn't meant to be a boast really, bc I've also seen some real [Removed for Content] parses from 'locks -- but the highest zone parses I've seen come from warlocks more often than not. So it's all in how you play it. Imagine that.
