Dual wield and haste question

If I have a really low(1.2) delay weapon and a higher delay weapon >1.6 but my haste is very high...like in a group or raid situation, would it be better to have the higher delay weapon in my main hand to take more advantage of the haste?  It was my understanding that the lower delay weapon is better for your main hand but is that always the case?

Yes, you always want the higher delay in your main hand, though you sort of want to try to get both of your weapons on the same delay anyway.
