Strange Plant?

<p>Is this quest broke?  The starter item hasn't spawned or dropped at all.  I've done 5 characters checking the cave after every quest from 1 to 7, to see if it matters tied to a quest.  No luck.</p><p> Any Input?</p>

In my opinion a couple of the quests in Darklight are hit or miss like this. Luxuries for the Rich is another one that somehow shifts with lunar phases or something and decides whether or not it feels like working on a day to day basis. It's rather annoying, and each character I level through I usually end up sending in a bug report on something from the zone...
