View Full Version : Problem with Splitpaw Saga/ other instances

<p>Hi,</p><p> I have just recently started playing again and decided to try the Splitpaw Saga. I bought it, did the download, full file scan etc, but in game the transporters to take you to the adventure pack are not there. The shard makes a cloud thing appear but there is no picture within it of the transporters. If someone tries to zone me in or I get Abducted I get an error saying: Failure to create zone , recommend running Full File Scan. I have the same problem when trying to zone into other instances such as " A Pirates Hidden Stash" Rumbler Cave, Sink Hole, etc. It almost seems as if I dont have the files so it cant create the zone.</p><p> On another issue, I logged into Nektulos forest and it was very buggy and I could click on Mariner bells, fell through boat. I zoned into Feerott and it looked very messed up and I fell through the world. I have been going back and forth with Tech Support and have checked everything so far and cant find any reason to be having these problems. </p><p> If anyone has had any of these problems and found a way to correct them, or has any ideas to try, please lmk. Its getting very frustrating just being able to play certain zones.</p>

try deleting the nektulos file in you paks folder and full file scanning to get it back... see if it fixes Nektulos.

Just to be absolutely certain please run a Full File Scan again and make sure that the box for Splitpaw is checked prior.

If you got them through Station Access when you first started and came back under a regular account then the adventure paks are no longer on your account, they are included only when you have a active Station Access subscription, once you cancel the SA they are removed. A regualr subscription user has to purchase them. </p><p>For the others, make sure you have the patcerh set to download all required files immediately - this is off the Advanced button of the launch pad</p>

I have did the full scan, multiple ways, clicking save, download immediately, etc. and also made sure that Splitpaw Saga was checked. I never bought any of the other ADV. packs, including the first one, but I wouldnt think they would have anything to do with the Splitpaw Saga. </p><p> Other players can be standing beside me and see the Teleporter but its not on my screen.</p>

If it is not check with your credit card company to verify that the charge went through correctly. If it did, use the Search the Knowledge Base link at the upper right hand corner of the forum, then chat support and talk to them about it. Their hours are 10 AM to 7 PM pacific Mon-Fri. If the charge did not go throug try and verify with your credit card company on why it did not. You might also want to check your registered email address to see if anything was sent to you - also check the spam filter it moght have gotten bounced there

I have checked and it is showing on my account info as having it listed and I did get an email with a receipt. I even get the ingame shard and have started the quest and when I walk by where teleporter is supposed to be I got the quest update but can go no further. Looking under that pak folder, the first 2 items listed look to be related to the ADV pack 2 also. But seeing that I cant zone into any of the smaller or solo instances so far I dont think its strictly a Splitpaw problem.

So am I the only one that has ever had the problem where the terraporters for Splitpaw Saga are not even in the game?

<p>Your best bet would be to contact Tech Support via Live Chat, which will be up and running in 2 more hours (10am pst).</p><p>Otherwise, you can always try deleting the /Everquest II/Paks directory and then running the Full File Scan Again.</p><p>I don't really think that this is an issue with Splitpaw since you've mentioned that you are having problems zoning into other locations that don't have anything to do with SP. Besides that, this is the first that I've ever seen this issue in the 2+ years that I've visited these forums. That's not to say that someone else hasn't had the issue but either they didn't report it here or I simply missed the topic.</p>

It has a solution to the problem at hand, but not the core issue itself. It has a list of instructions to reproduce what another user found to fix the problem.That should work for you!
