Level 68 SK..What gear now??

<p>Hi</p><p> I've duo'd my SK all the way to 67 and am now taking part in more and more groups. Start farming : OoB, CoV, Kaladiam, MMCatacombs, Unrest, and MMcastle for your eof ( legendary ) gear. Do the EoF collections for the rewards which have nice stats and resists. And if your in a guild that can raid, get what ya need to make your SK a mean killing machine

There is a nice set of SK armor out that dose Not involve Raiding if you're not into that type of thing. Also there is the bloodpact broach from EoF. Even with most of my stuff caming from raids, i still use that neck piece. <img src="/smilies/97ada74b88049a6d50a6ed40898a03d7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<p>basic tank gear:</p><p>easy to get: head - hooluk quest in Barren Sky (Blood of the brood quest) </p><p>Kyle set: shoulder - drops of names in  ascent in catacombs boots - oob bracer - cov head & chest - unrest /chest also drops in mmc/ legs - sage in mmc (this one is really hard to get) gloves - Avatar in kaladim</p><p>since legs are really hard to get here are some other options: CoV - legs of bloodthrower (sp?) SoS - from the name in the room full of droag neaxt to the wrath room (can't remember the name, lvl 57 but nice)</p><p>easy alternative for chest: cuiras of true blood - CoV</p><p>rings: (assuming you like to tank in groups) jagged band in unrest (this isn't a very common drop) dark chitin ring in den in bonemire (not lore so you can use 2)</p><p>claymore timeline dragon sash belt - very good tank belt dragon pauldron - very nice shoulder dragon bracer (5x +30 to stats- hard to bit for none raiders) qeynos guard - very good shield but it it final reward and requires DT raid to finish</p><p>weapon: kettlesomething katana in Nest in barren sky (2h) grizzlefazzle shield - quest from grizzlefazzle in bonemire </p><p>everything except sage doable with one group </p><p>you can also tag along on Labs raid and hope for some relic plate drop, the are about on par with Kyle set most of the time and there are a few ok weapons which drops there</p><p>there are also 2 nice items which requires raids to finish: but all steps up to that point are group so you can do them and hope to tag along on the raid to finish them mark of awaken - (neck) /requires MoA raid at the end/ DT access line (nice neck/wrist) /requires clearing Labs and killing Harla and Taledor so not so easy/</p>

<p>All, thanks for your replies, I feel like I have direction ! yay</p><p>....now to get those groups, my problem is I'm not sure I'm tanking well enough with my current stuff so I'm kind of thinking I should be looking to be secondary tank?</p>

Also something that I would like to mention is Curiass of Shadowfire is imo one of the best bp's for a SK over the Kyle Bayle trash. Nice mit, stats that compliment the stats we use, and it's tradeable so you should be able to find it on the broker. I have noticed on AB particularily*sp?* with enough coin a person can gear up nicely with fabled gear, armor and jewelry. I know most don't have a ton of plat to waste on it but it is an option. I continually keep my eyes open for pick up raids and hope for drops I can use. Kyle Bayle's gear is directed toward Pally's with the amount of wis on the pieces, which does zero for the SK. *rant ... SoE proves once again that they favor Pally's ... just look at the EoF legendary armor... rant off* And as others have said, work the Claymore line.. I am still using several items from it and trying to get the final kill for DeathToll access.  *Just need Gorenaire and I'll have a new shiny wrist piece*
