As of last night, I am getting booted from the game every 18 minutes. The game simply stops working. I can move around, but I cannot use any of my abilities, items, equipment or interact with anything. I then get booted to a blank window with the "Trying to connect to Server #" messages. After cycling through all of those it tells me that it couldn't find a server and that they may be busy. I have nothing else running in the background and my ISP is still connected after EQ2 boots me out. I have DSL through SBC / AT&T and I am using a SlipStream modem. Again, though, I was not having this problem until last night.

Does anyone have any ideasa as to why? Thanks.

That is a pretty odd situation. The most likely cause, if it just appears suddenly, and it is such a strange error that does not seem to be related to any hardware/software modifcation or installs, is that your ISP is having some slight problems. You may also be having a problem, if you are connected to a router. If you are, you will have to correctly forward ports for your router, to regain connetion to the servers in the right manner. Id start by checking out your ISPs website, or giving them a call, and see if they are having any technical problems that may be related to yours. More than likely, some of the hardware that connects your system to their service has broke, or has become faulty for some reason. This could be due to a electrical storm, a bad rain storm and flooding of the parts, or a tech that was connecting someone else to the network, and accidentally pulled out a wire &/or tripped a switch that relates to your connection. All ISPs have problems like this from time to time. It happens, and is unavoidable. It used to happen a lot to users with modems, and still happens to users of coaxial cable modem systems, during extreme network stress. __ If this is not your problem, or your ISP denys any problems, post your DXDiag info, and any hardware or software you can think of that you may have installed OR removed over the last 96 hours before this occured. Also, if you have been to any websites that may contain spyware or adware, or even a virus, this may be the cause as well, as your system may be attempting to create a "zombie" mail distributor service. Make sure that you have a firewall installed and working, run a spyware detecting program, and run a virus scan, if the above suggestion about your ISP fails.
