Bestowal of Vitality Sign of Weakness Combative Faith Disgrace CON -It's level 21, so won't last as long as Disgrace or Combative Faith. -It's not a heal, so it's not as "class-defining" as Bestowal of Vitality. PRO -It's a daze, which prevents damage; not quite a heal, but still useful. -There's no difference between App4 and Ad1 for this spell, so it's either pay for Ad3/M1 or get the M2. The other three choices scale much better from App4 through Ad1 and Ad3. I managed to get Combative Faith M1 for a reasonable price, so it's one of the other three for me. I took Bestowal of Vitae at 14 and was disappointed when App4 Bestowal of Vitality turned out to be an improvement (on many other spells, an M2 choice will actually be better than Ad1/Ad3 of the next tier, so it ends up lasting for 28 levels or so, but not in this case :^P). Thanks in advance!

Unless I'm mistaken, the only difference between getting the higher adpet3, m1, m2 is the resistability.

That being the case, I doubt too many people choose this. The relatively small increase in landing the spell wouldnt generally justify using up your master 2 choice on it. But dont get me wrong, I use the spell all the time.

As to the disappointment with the vitae spell not lasting as long as it should, a large part of that is simply how it works at the lower levels. The higher you get, the better things are spaced out.

Also, keep in mind that you have the option of respeccing your character traits, m2 choices etc. Though be careful doing this as if you are careless, you can overwrite a m1, or adept3 with your master choice and basically have it be wasted $$ not that I've done that personally or anything...

The jump from 16% to 24% is fairly hefty and at least makes me consider choosing this M2. That being said, I'll probably just craft the Ad3 and choose Bestowal of Vitality as the M2 (found Disgrace M1 for a reasonable price, Sign M1 is like 50gp and Bestowal M1 is ... well ... not available at all :^P). As for the Vitae being replaced so soon, for perspective, my Ranger is still using the Hunter's Instinct M2 he took at level 24 because, while all the upgrades to this spell do give more AGI, none of them give the same in-combat speed boost, even at M1. Since I often solo and usually kite, in-combat speed is more important than 10-20 points of AGI. I have other spells/arts on other characters that have similar issues. So it was somewhat annoying to find that the Vitae spell actually has a decent upgrade, the way it =should= ;^) And yeah, I wish the M2 selection box had tooltips like you get when you compare a spell from the broker to what you already have....
