Griffon Eggs for the Steppes Tower Stations

<p>I was doing quests in TS when i came accorss a griffon egg. i promptly havested it but apparently i never knew about "a 5 min 30 sec" Timer. there was no Timer box on my screen or should there have been? i'm wondering if this is a bug too? </p><p>also for those that are here - can i start the quest *at any griffon tower*? also since i failed the first one, i have to delete and get the quest again am i right?</p>

The quest timer is shown with that quest.  When you are ready to do it select that quest in your journal.  You don't have to get it again, just the eggs.  Also you can turn them in at any Griffon tower I believe.

It's been some time since I've done that quest, but I am pretty sure that you can start the quest from any tower and complete it at any tower (not necessarily the same one you started at).  The timer starts when you find an egg.

<p>ok thanks. i'm glad i logged off in that general area so i don't have to run around like i did last night..</p><p>btw, i want to shoot the dev that decided the bridge keep needs a quest to get the key to use and sidetracks us from quests we need/want to get done but can't cuz we don't have [I cannot control my vocabulary] access..</p><p>*edit* i can control my vocabulary just fine - i choose NOT TO</p>

The quest giver tells you that you must be quick!  And there is the timer written in red in the quest helper box.  I don't see what more they could do for you. I don't think you even have to get the quest again.  When you fail the step, the quest just rolls back one step, and you must find an egg again.
