Oh look! Another gear question!!!

I just dinged 20 on Nagafen with my SK, locked xp (not sure if nows the right time...open to suggestions), and wanted to spend some time [Removed for Content] out my gear (spells are all adp3+ but I'm still getting smacked around in pvp situations).  I was wondering what, best case scenario, I should strive to get (above and beyond mastercrafted). -Rekluse

I realy dont know what kind of loot you can find for that level.  but at 22 you can get mastercrafted.  I would get steel armor and full out caster jewlry.

<p>at lvl 20 - 30 you can get your sk armor quest from east freeport.  I forget the mobs name, but if you go to east freeport..take an immediate left and enter the armory there you can find the guy in the right hand room with a feather over his head. </p><p>Every piece has 130 + mitigation with good stats for a SK, it also has a slick look.  The quests will give you XP and AA and scale up in level for each one, the line goes from lvl 20 through 26.  They also take you ALL OVER the place, from butcherblock to nektulos, giving you an opportunity to grab all the quests you can do.  For that level range. </p><p>As far as locking, I locked so I wouldnt out level quests, but as long as you are green or better there is no reason to lock.  Just do your quests oldest to newest and you should get more than enough AA. </p>

I dont think he is locking for content he is locking for pvp.(wich i dont agree [Removed for Content] but i dont pay his bill)

<p>I've only ever had one PvP char (a Fury) which I only made to run around with some friends. They locked at 15 or 16 or something to purposely avoid being attacked by people in lvl 22 mastercrafted.</p><p> At 20 you'll be open to attack from the mastercrafted people 2 levels higher, so I guess you might as well get to 22 yourself for some steel, unless there's maybe a better reason to stay at 20 (spells that can be used against you or whatever).</p><p> I wasn't a big fan of PvP or level locking in general, so I stopped playing him ages ago.</p>

<p>I think the locking at 20 was so he got HT.(the easy gank tool)</p><p>I realy hate that people all feel we are one trick ponys due to our HT.  When i have done 2v1 and not used my PT and people still say i suck it realy pisses me off.</p><p>We are so much better than our HT/PT</p>

I mainly decided to lock because I suck at pvp and wanted to spend some time fighting before I get too deep into t3.  Thanks all for the advice. -Rekluse
