Now what?

Im new to EQ2 and my play time is in the morning since I work nights. My questions is, why are the servers always down? I check the server status page and it says the servers are down but nothing about why they are down or for how long. The only time they said anything was the 14th and the servers were down all day. So now what...why are they down today?

Sometimes the notes will say down, even if they aren't. Click play to make sure. And they have been down lately due to Legends of Norrath beta release. At the moment they're down, ironically enough.

<p>When the US servers come down for maintenance, its generally at 7am PST/PDT, given the huge update on Tuesday its not surprising its down again at the moment</p><p>If youre going to be playing odd times though, you may consider playing on one of the Euro servers, possibly then there would be more people around when youre playing, also the Euro servers have maintenance at different times (4am GMT, 8pm PST).</p>
