Hello! I've been trying for the past 2 days to get a character transfer done... and keep getting this email- ---------------------------- <b><i>For your records, please note that your TRACKING NUMBER is: 187870 Your order has been completed, but we encountered an error during the process. Please contact us by replying to this email if you have any further questions. ------------- </i></b>The first time I was told my name was taken.. so I switched it to another name, "Knotwise" which I've used in several SOE games including this one... and as its my own creation, I'm not sure how it is a naming violation. So.. I resubmitted the name as Amaretti.. same thing.... its a flavor!!! Is the transfer service just not working? A "generic fail"? Please advise what I should do! <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Refilling out that form over and over it getting exhausting.. and its hard enough finding names that arent taken! <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Yup. Seems to create a thread/post of sorts in what look like some sort of isolated SOE costumer support webpage. Its just sitting there. No indication of when or even if someone will look at it.

We dug a little into this and the reason your character transfer failed was you had items for sale out on the broker. Go and remove those items form the broker and try again. Let us know if you are still having the problem.

<p>Awesome. Your issue was fixed, how about mine though. At first it I received teh same email, same error. An Ingame GM cecked it out there were 18 Ghost mail. So they were deleted.</p><p>Now on to problem 2.</p><p>Now that the ghost mail was removed, I cant even get passed the Select server screen. (The first one where you chose what server you are transfering from). It tells me, "Unable to find Characters". Also keep in mind this is ONLY if Splitpaw is even available on the server list. There are times I try and Its not an option so i have to close out the browser and log back into SoE and start over.</p><p>If im lucky, after continously attempting this, I can get pass that and choose the character. Now im stuck at Either "Session Timed out" or "Transaction Failed, Server is down". I talked to customer service and they had me change my Web browser to Default I.E. instead of Firefox. After that not working I talked to them again and apparantly they escalated my problem to Tier 2. Basically someone else will look at it. </p><p> I gave them all my billing information as they requested so that they can attempt to Manually do this for me.</p><p> As much as I would like to check on the status of my characters, I CANT. I moved back to the US recently and for some reason can not even seem to access my OWN characters that are on splitpaw (EU). </p><p> I hope you have some answers for me, because Contracted EQ2 CS has NONE.</p>

Let us know if you are still having the problem. </blockquote> Thanks Gninja =) I did all of the requests things (clearing mail, emptying broker, etc)... do I need to do something else now besides reply to that help thread? Also.. I noticed there are TWO transfer charges pending on my bank account for trying to redo the transfer process after the first time failed.... I trust they wont both go through... right?? <img src="/smilies/1cfd6e2a9a2c0cf8e74b49b35e2e46c7.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Gninja- I'm assuming youre the one answering my questions on the SOE support page.... but the topic has been closed and I havent been notified of whether or not the problems with the transfer are fixed...? When and is my character going to be transfered?

Feta I dont think anyone cares about the situation right now. I keep getting the same email over and over again about how I need to Check the broker, my gear, my XP debt..etc.. They have made no progress on my situation and keep telling me it is being escalated to the next level. Sounds you are receiving similar treatment.
