Hey guys I recently came back to the game after a long break for other games. I Started playing a Brigand and have really enjoyed it so far. As of yet I've done mostly solo play but have really enjoyed the groups I've been in. Then I hit 22, and mass confusion set in. The sky started falling and my preconceptions of everything Brigand went upside down.

Well... maybe not to that extent but I was hopeful I could get some advice on my level 22 trait. I've asked around and I've been told 2 things mostly. 1.) grab the health regen talents for my soloing, or 2.) grab the power regen talents for grouping. So far I've had no trouble with power whatsoever, I made a second character for crafting and made him provisioner so I'm always stocked on food and drink. So give that, would the power regen really help that much for grouping?

Max Hitpoints most assuredly. Not only is it the most important (if you're dead... you aren't fighting), it also is a percentage and scales with level.

Power concerns come a bit later but yes, power becomes an issue. I can burn through half my power in a couple mobs pretty easily if I'm laying it on.

The power regen is effectively a free FT5 item. It won't seem like much in the 20's but later on power will be an issue and a constant FT5 is certainly a nice start. Either way if you choose one now at 22, you can grab the other at 42. (+2.5%hp and +5 power regen being the optimal choices)

I disagree on the choice of the +5 regen, it's not optimal at all. You get items later on, plus group buffs for regen and it is capped. If you are raiding, some situations you may reach your regen cap.

I did the math a long long time ago and you're better off taking the increase in power pool then the regen anyway. It takes MANY ticks at that regen amount to equal out to the power pool increase. I'm not saying it' the only option or a must have, or that you even have to believe me. I'm just saying that in most circumstances, you won't have fights nearly long enough for the + regen to equate to the power pool increase traits.
