View Full Version : Unable to log in.
It seems I cant log in on my main account, I keep getting "operation timed out" and other wierd errors depending on where I try to log in. I've been having a minor issue with this for a few days, but today I simply cannot log in. I think I've managed to get to the patcher 3 times, but when I start up the game it sends login informaton to zone servers, and once again, my login wont work, leaving me with the ingame login screen that never seems to work anyway so I am effectively shut out of forums, my station account and the game on that account. One of the error messages I get when trying to log into my account is; <b>CAS is Unavailable</b> <p> A general exception occurred while trying to access CAS. Please notify your system administrator. </p> And seeing how I can freely log into this account but not the other, I am kindof wondering what is up?
It is happening again, would be kindof nice if you could get whatever server is messed up (or just the post in the database that is my account) fixed since its not very amusing not being capable of logging in for several hours on end. Another thing that would be cool would be some kind of interaction here. Thank you very much.

When I convinced them that it was not my password, they told me the only solution was to wait. So I really do not know what is going on since there has not been any additional help from CS.</p><p> The problem started for me Wed, I even made a post about it when I was finally able to get into EQ2 forums. I didn't have the problem yesterday and as of right now, no problems. But from what you are saying, you've been experiencing it for a few days now, which worries me too.</p>

At first, it was like two clicks to get in onc ein a while. Now it takes anywhere between 2-4 hours to get in. I think that the error is a failing server on their side, since quite obviously I can log into this account but not my main one (the one I have all my toons on pretty much). I could even tell you that their central authentication service software seems to be old and not updated to the latest version. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> And sinc eIm in the EU, I dont really feel like calling CS to have a desk clerk tell me I've entered the wrong password, something I know Im not, since when I purposely enters the wrong password I get an error telling me I'm entering the wrong information.

I am unable to log in game as well. It's been 24 hours now. I've posted a petition ticket on the support section of the website and have not received any answers from the Customer Representative or Tech people. I've done full file scans and everything. Haven't been able to connect. I only get to the point where I can click on Play and then it loads the background images and keeps saying that it's trying to log onto server 1....2......3.....4.....5 etc. and then it says it can't connect, try later. It would be nice to have some sort of response on this. Someone on another forum asked me if I tried to "play" the new card thing that is on beta. I did not. All i know is that when the game updates were going through the bar, i saw something that was about cards something something.

All i know is that when the game updates were going through the bar, i saw something that was about cards something something. </blockquote>I've had the problem longer back than the release of LoN, it just has accelerated and is a pretty [I cannot control my vocabulary] big show stopper atm, a fwe minutes of not logging in I can take. hours upon hours is too much. It also seems you have a slightly different problem than I do. I cant even get to the patcher, since I keep getting the "The operation timed out" error there. Every so ofte, I maange to get past that, and launch the game, where it will not manage to sign into the server since it resends the login, and it will once again not work.

And this is my main account. It seems that I managed to log into the forums, but I cant make it into the game now. It would be nice with some kind of reply from a CS rep. Even an "Oh, we have a faulty server/db and are working on it" would be [I cannot control my vocabulary] nice.
Still having problems logging in.
