i think soe should find someway to combine eq1 and eq2 so the people who play eq1 can move their characters over to eq2 cause i know a few people who played eq1 and would love to move thier characters over to eq2 so i think they should come up with a combanation expantion that goes on both games ether a time travel thing or something more interesting like "Into The Void a place beyond time" you know the place where the shadow men come from i think it woulb be cool also gives a new expantion

A bad idea I think. From what I understand EQ1 and EQ2 are two very different games and so are the charactors in classes, skills, AA's. etc. I do not think they would meld well together at all from what I have heard and have no idea how you would convert a character either way.

yes that is what my friends say too but this would be a way to work some lore into the exchange of characters from eq1 to eq2 really it would get some more people coming to eq2 also only eq1 players would be able to cross and would revert back to a lower lvl even so a viod exspasion would be cool with or without a crossing of games but please explain your reasoning i really want to know?

Browns Lab in Back to the Future 2 for more info on alt timelines) , as such even if they could come to the future it would be the future of that timeline.

srry but your wrong go to the loping planes and talk to teh witch in the village complete her quests and get teh one called "into the void" the void isnt an alterante time line and if it is then how can all of these monsters travers through it..i dont know what the void is i dont think anyone does and there isnt any lore about it ether so it might make a good expantion EDIT: ok was reading up on the two reallitys now i understand your reasoning but here is mine beacause these are 2 different time lines there is one way you can travers between them.........by going through other dimension EQ2 is rittled with them "obilisck of blight" and anywhere you see a void monster....and in since this is another dimension. that has worm holes in both dimensions traveling through the void should give atleast 3 acess points 2 in EQ2 and i have not played eq1 but there is a void i am sure....so read the words of Zebuxoruk for once it paints a better picture than back to the future (lol i love that movie) but really your right there is no way to "time travel" between 2 demesions but using a interdemensioal link like the void you can cross space, time, demensions if they can do it i am sure we can.....there is little lore about the void just a few people who have found it and were surprised at the hell the discovered most likely most people who find an entrance to the void never find thier way out not that there isnt a path they just got eaten or something
Ke'la wasn't saying that Void monsters couldn't come to us, she was saying that EQ1 players couldn't come to us. At the end of the Planes of Power expansion in EQ1, Druzzil Ro teleported the raid party that defeated Quarm back in time before they could finish freeing Zebuxoruk. This caused a split in time, one where the EQ1 universe exists and one where the EQ2 universe exists. Read the words of Zebuxoruk that can be found in the Qeynos or Freeport library, he talks about this. And, like Ke`la said, the Back to the Future series if a wonderful source for the answers to all of your time traveling questions =D There has been lore about the void, but very little...to my knowledge, all we know of comes from the Obelisk zones and Developer posts on these forums. Check out the history and lore board to see any information on that one. Personally, I wouldn't like a void expansion. The void bores me. Also, I hate time travel so it wouldn't be a plus for me either.

ya i got that while reading the words of Zebuxoruk but really using interdimesions would work thanks for your post really this was just something to think about if you dont want a void expantion....well you said it

I really doubt people on EQ1 that have racked up 1500 aa's would want to come to EQ2 and then be given 100 achievement points. Those 1500 aa's take alot longer than the points in eq2.
