ok i have been to eqwiki and still need help please. I'm doing the quest where i have to find the 3 missing parts for the gnome on the beach. I have found 2 of them but the 1 east of him underwater is a pain to find. Any clues would help. I run out of air to quick.

Heres a hint stay above the water where you can berath as it visable from the top and its quite a ways out in the water, if you go directly east from him and then a a little north you should see it as a large cog under the water.

I normally go to the bow of the boat then swim directly west from there. As already stated, swim on the surface til you see it and try to do it in (Norrath) daylight hours.

Guys, i run into a invisible wall when i swim out east of him. Is this a bug?

No, it's where the world ends ^^ You're swimming too far east.

ok behind him is east. I can see a half sunken boat in the distance. Is this the right area?

If you triangulate from the corner of the cliff and the bow of the boat you'll be in the right area. The trick for me was to set into 3rd person view and lift until I was looking from fairly high up. Then just swim in that area until you see the cog on the floor underneath. Dive down and "touch" it and you're done. After you've found it once you'll never be lost again.

The best advice I can give is to download the map updater. This and many other quest updates, NPCs, and other important points are on it, which makes quests like this much less tedious. It's a free download that you can get here: EQ2Map

Starting to get annoyed with this. First i can't get near the boat because of the invisible wall. Someone post that they swim west from the boat. How did you even get near it? Is the half sunken boat the right boat? someone post that is really far out in the water. I don't get very far. The wall goes from the cliff all the way to the dock near the boat where there's a guy fishing.

If you boat you are trying to get to is out past the 'invisible wall' its the wrong one. The 'invisible wall' is basically the edge of the world, theres no way past it.

I believe the bit you are looking for is at loc: -143, -15, 161, use that, it should show on the map where it is. I cant explain what it looks like, its so long since I've done it, but eq2.wikia (ie. eq2i) tells you the waypoint for it (ie. that waypoint I just mentioned)

I would give this site a look:

http://maps.eq2interface.com/

Read it, and download and install it. Believe me this saved many a hair from being pulled from my head looking for quest locations all over Norrath.
