Plasma Wand + Vine-Wrapped Boots. Is it worth it?

So..  Wand of Crystallized Plasma...  Rate: 1.8, Duration: 12s  Vine Wrapped Boots... Rate: 10%, Duration: 7s My question is, do you think it's worthwhile to use both. I'm not asking about stacking here, actually the antithesis really.. As I recall these do not stack. What I'm wondering is given the relatively short duration, if it's worth wearing both for those times when they are not trying to overwrite each other. Anyone have any experience with this? On a tangent, we changed a lot of procs over from a % to a per-minute ratio.  Why do some items still come up as % sometimes?

<p>Yes.</p><p>They both stack, CWoP affects the base dmg while VWB affect just damage (and apply to the BoE cap, as well as being normalized.)</p><p>CWoP does not stack with the CMayong Orb however.</p><p>Edit: The procs/minute formula is (ProcsPerMinute)/20 = (PercentageToProc)... Ex. 1.8/20 = 8%</p>

Yes, they are both, imho, two of the few no brainers for Wizards. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Oh how I wish I had the boots... /jealous Like Dex said though, Orb will not stack and it is obviously surperioir, so in that case I would ditch the wand for any other good 1h. I'm still interested in how well the Cheldrak wand does now days, being that people ditched using it a while ago. Anybody know if it's normalized?

The cheldrake dagger is still just a 100% proc however it can be resisted from what I understand, with the long duration spells we cast it is not really feesable for a wizzy to use it, the wand from unrest is way better and the SoD is better than the Chel dagger as well.  Personalyl I like the WoCP over teh SOD reward.
