To me it doesn't really matter. But most consider going with STR for AoE warding and with whatever else you want. And on other tree all the enhancement buffs and cure enhancements. I changed all my specs for DPS and I ain't going back. I raid on a regular basis and it doesn't really matter all that much what AP path I've chosen. But that's just my opinion.

Not a hardcore raider by any means, but STR + WIS + Bufs KOS: STR for the dog ward and sporatic AOE immunity. WIS minor bonuses, but alacrity on the hate transfer scout, or on a caster seems to always win me an extra friend for the evening. Ritual macroed into the group heal helps a little. EOF: Buf line and Ancenstry, and mostly reinforce the buf line with all the extra points, few trash points on trauma ward, and 10 points to get 2 of the DD combat arts. Kept my DOTS as the normal cast versions of them. All the points possible on bolster, and fortelling enhancements. I can see arguments to swap the wisdom line for the int line or the stamina line for certain scenarios. I won't enjoy solo XPing when I get stuck there, but heal for a group with decent agro control and all's dandy.

Not a hardcore raider by stretch, but str/agility lines seem to work well for me (haste/ward proc/aoe immunity from str, heal crits and my increase to my melee from agility, I tend to spend a lot of time standing close enough to the tank for my bear to be of use, I figure I might as well poke the mob in the [Removed for Content] while I'm there). I had the first couple in the wisdom line for a while (up to ritual) but since it only works on heals, and warding honestly is what I'm doing most, even on raids I felt I ended up wasting points when I had it so switched.

I went straight buffs/melee line to ancestry in the EOF lines. Buffs are obvious, melee line allows me to through some dps between wards/heals/cures. (plus the fact I found both the other EOF lines pretty useless.

There honestly isn't any wrong choice. You can be an effective raider no matter which aa line you choose.

I use AGI+STA, the fast cures from sta line are wonderful when raiding and my healing seems to be enough so I don't need any barking dogs. In the EoF line I use combat arts and buff line.

I was wondering about the effectiveness of critical heals on wards. (Sorry I'm just a curious guardian) Does Ancestral Spirit (AGi AA from KoS) also apply to the amount of ward ? Or does it only affect direct heals ?

When I look at ACT parsing, I never see any crits on wards. So, I'm a bit sceptical

Change the colors of various crits in the chat options if you have to so you can see which are the crits more easily.

I have all normal heals/wards in blue and the crits in white. I very frequently see my wards critting. Just as often (and more since I use them more) as my heals.

It's also very easy to see if you mouse over the ward. It shows how much ward is remaining. If you do it right when the ward lands, you will see when you've crit. I'm a bit surprised that the parse wouldn't show a larger value being healed by a crit ward though. It always appears to me that I am getting the full benefit when I crit on my group & single target wards while solo.

Here are the AA's I am currently using, and am going to stick with as a raid mystic. I've tested out about every tree. This is what I like the best. Now, it can be different depending on how you raid, even how your guild raids as a whole. With the 9 points I have left to get, I'll be filling out more of the resurrection line in the Mystic tree. With this tree, increases the cast speed of my resurrections, the moment I see somebody die, within a few seconds I have them rez'd and back alive. Quicker than other other player in my raid. With the reduced time, it almost takes no time at all to rez somebody. The AA that reduced the power cost of rez's is really nice too. One of my favorite AA's is down the Sta line. The main reason I went down the stamina line, is now all my cures have 80% reduced cast time, 80% reduced reuse time, and 80% reduced power cost. This is HUGE! I can literally spam cast cures in a fight without EVER running out of Power ( I've tested this, after a few minutes of casting over and over, Power was still at 99%. ) With the increased cast time, When my group cure is down, or there is a effect on my group that needs curing that I don't have the group cure for, Running down the line pressing F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, I can cure my group with the single target cure, within 2 seconds. Almost as good as a group cure. Before, I was going down the cure line in the Mystic AA tree, but after having the wards added onto my cures, I couldn't tell any difference at all for how much damage everyone was taking. Coagulate is very nice, there have an uncountable number of times, where someone, or even multiple people in my group get knocked out, and because of the extra 1k HP, they've been able to be saved from dieing. Very useful in a raid anything to help prevent anyone's armor from taking damage. Ancestry will make you any scouts best friend (or enemy depending on their wealthyness and price of poisons j/k). As a raid Mystic, the main tank always has Bolster the moment its up. So putting 5 points to increase the duration, only made sense to me. 5 Points into Avatar AA as well, to put the Wis/Int on there. I usually have Avatar on the main tank (when i'm in the main tank group). The Wisdom helps with his resists, and Int helps with his proc damage. I usually switch up on who I use alacrity in. Depending on the status of the battle, or how early it is in the fight. Also it depends on who is my group of course. I usually use the increase %healed of next heal AA when I need to do a group heal. Helps bring everyone up to full really quickly rather than using it for a single target heal. Although it all depends on the situation as well. So... below are my AA lines as is, and hope some of this info may help as well
