newish swashie seeks advice

strength line has more uses and offers alot more. Im personally agility/wisdom because i enjoy walk the plank in pvp it is a great tool.

I am a 30 swash and am yet to find a 1hander worthy of going over to WIS line.. any sugestions on a good lowbie 1h around level 30? I have seen alot of real nice 1h weapons, but none all that close to my level.

i find the mastercrafted ones aren;t to expensive to get and seem to do the joob well for me, that or find one inside and instance, althouhg not sure where you'd find one

yeah I will look at 32 and see what they got for Mastercrafted 1h, but the mastercrafted duels are nice and even all tier3 mastercrafted gear I like haveing the other weapon just for the extra chance of Imbue kicking in, as well as the extra stats. Anyways I will play around with it, just kind of wondering if any higher level swashs sugest switching to agi/wis or str/wis at my level.

i know i'm not a high level swash by any account but i love the wis ling it offers so much, increase riposte and parry, double attack to compensate for not having duel wield, lunge reversal is good damage when it procs and coule is lovely for better hit rateing and as such even more damage, i have just started putting aa into str, personally i think it might be the best combo for leveling although for later raiding others might have an edge not sure

str/wisdom is a better spec for raiding because of swipe. agi/wis and str/wis tend to be around the same numbers with agility being better for a fast delay weapon like qeynos cutlass. Agility really shines when you can get dirge and templar buffs increasing your Pirates stab aa ability percentage to proc.

so would you say agi might be better for leveling or stick to str until i start grouping and raiding alot at higher levels?

well strength is gonna give you +defense +crits + two useful CA's agility is gonna give you + out of combat run speed + a nice root/turn CA + the ability to cast CA's faster with a quicker recovery im gonna say strength is better off for leveling...but honesty does NOT make a huge difference
