Before changing your drivers, make sure that your card is supported for our game, and that you have the most up-to-date drivers for it. You may find Supported Cards and Drivers information by going to our Everquest II Driver Page. Once you have downloaded the newest drivers to a location you will remember (such as the Desktop), you need to remove your current drivers. Before installing new Video drivers, regardless of Make, Manufacturer, or Model # of card, you should always uninstall the drivers you are using currently before updating to the new drivers. Click on Start, click on Settings, click on Control Panel, and then click on Add/Remove programs (for Vista, it's Start, then Control Panel, and either Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features). Your Video card drivers should be listed, and this is where you should uninstall them (just click on the driver and click the Change/Remove button)

DirectX 10 WARNING: Due to a lack of updated drivers to support it, we currently cannot guarantee support for DirectX 10 for any of our supported cards. If you have already upgraded to DirectX 10, we recommend that you revert back to 9.0c (April version) at the earliest opportunity. Please contact the Technical Support Department if you need assistance in reverting DirectX back to 9.0c.[Removed for Content]???? Are you completely clueless?

Guys (SOE guys, that is), this statement makes you look REALLY REALLY bad.. You need to correct this text ASAP. Im hoping this is just poorly worded. DX10 ONLY exists or Vista and it IS the DirectX for Vista. Vista has a compatibility mode support for DX9 (DX9L) and installation of other DX9 distros works. There is NO "removing" DX10 though. DX10=Vista=DX10. This has to just be a typo.

GeForce 9xxx* Series:

Vista 64bit Link doesn't work. I downloaded & attempted to install & an error message appears stating that the OS I'm using isn't Windows. It could be that the driver listed is for Windows 7 Beta, not Vista 64 bit.

The appropriate link for GeForce 9xxx* Series Vista 64bit is here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp6...86.18_whql.html

The Geforce 3/4 series differs from the current GTX 300 and 400 (and 500) series'.

The latest Nvidia driver is currently recommended which is 260.99.

You can pull up your card at www.nvidia.com and download the latest driver for it.
