Bought Laptop - What do I do?

<p>I just bought a used laptop from a buddy at work.  I would like to be able to go mobile with eq2.  I was wondering when I want to install game on laptop is a 30 gig hard drive large enough to hold game and all the updates?  Plus, do I just install game with my original disks and then goto start game and just go thru all the updates being that all my expansions and adventure packs were didgital downloads?</p><p>Please any info is good info.</p>

Should be enough space on the drive so long as it's not full of other stuff <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Yup, install the game from the discs you have then the patcher will do the rest. What are the specs of the laptop?

<p>Has a 1.6ghz athlon xp-m processor and right now 512 mb ram  (upgrading to 1 gig which is max for computer)</p><p>Has an ati radeon graphics card, the computer is about 2-3 years old my buddy said he tried trial of the isle with it but he didn't have enough ram so that is why I am upgrading to the 1 gig max.</p><p>Laptop is a Compaq Preario 2100</p><p>Thanks for info</p>

I am running eq2 very well on almost the same system but have 1.5 gigs ram , amd 1.78 turion 64 ati 200m(set at 128mb) works well , just might need to twick the settings abit with only 1 gig of ram
