1) How do I sell items from the broker? When I tried it said I need some sort of crate or box to sell from? Where do I get one? Do I buy it or do I have to craft it? I'm a level 16 Scribe (if it's craftable) and a level 18 Necro (Freeport). 2) A lot of people in the 10-19 channel talk about XP locking for AA? I know what AA is but what are they talking about? Is it some way to lock your level so instead of getting combat XP you get AA instead? Does this allow you to get AA points that you normally wouldn't have until much higher levels earlier on? Can you unlock you XP after so you can continue leveling? When is the best time to do this? I checked the FAQ and read the guide on selling but it didn't say how to get a crate or I missed that part. Sorry if these questions have been asked 100 times, but if you can help out a noob that would be great. Thanks!

You can sell from the broker by putting any container (box or bag) in the broker slot and filling it up with your items. You can purchase special crates from your local Carpenter that can be put in the slot and then placed in your home so people can avoid the broker fees if they come to your home and buy directly from your crate.

You can lock your combat xp by right clicking on the combat xp bar and selecting 'disable combat xp' from the menu. This prevents killing things from giving you xp and you will only level by doing quests/collections/discovering new places. All those things also give you aa, so by locking your combat xp you can extend the time you are the proper level to get xp & aa for those quests.

Open the broker window and place the empty storage device into one of the Broker slots, then drag your iteams into that bag, then using the list below the slots set prices for each of your iteams(this will list the iteam for sale) do NOT list for the price shown that is the price you will get from the best NPC buyers in the game(Gratified Merchants(who are Distrest Merchants you resqued, these are fairly rare and I think being phased out), search for the iteam on the broker using the search button, and then price it based on what you get from that. You are now selling to other players

When I tried it said I need some sort of crate or box to sell from?

any Iteam holding device will do you can use a bag(earned from doing quests or bought from a Tailor) wich for the most part have the fewest slots, a Strongbox(you can buy these from a carpenter) these have more slots per tier then Bags but not as many slots as... a Sales Display(also from Carpenter) these hold the most iteams per tier and have the added benifit of being placeable in your house, from the broker UI acessable via the Market Board(looks like a corkboard, you get this from doing the housing quest, or you can buy it from the inn keeper NPC). If ypu place a sales display in your house other players will be able to buy directly from the display wich allows them to bypass the broker fee.

Where do I get one? from other players mostly see above answer for more details

Do I buy it or do I have to craft it? You want to buy it as you can only make the very smallest strong box and that wont do you much good. Currently I'm a level 16 Scribe if that means anything (if it's craftable). 2) A lot of people in the 10-19 channel talk about XP locking for AA?
