Hi all I've finally reached the 60's and am starting to kit myself out with good equipment. I'm in a small guild and we can't get a force together for raiding so thats some stuff I can't get. Anyway, I'm looking to get a decent set of weapons and i looking at the best option. I've seen various ones on the broker but am tring to figure which would be better. Do I go for a high damage rating or a lower damage rating with a high proc. The one's I looking at are the Stiflewing Claw Fist's and the xegonite claws. If I go with the Stifewings, I'll lose 38 points of agi but the damage rating on these is 47.9 were on the xegonite it's 43.4. Any advice is welcome. Cheers........ Gitface..........

I would suggest going with the Brawler STR line of 4-4-8, until you can find some weapons that have a DR of >56. Also check out the Monk T7 fabled list, there are some weapons listed there that come from group instances.

Look for Closing Time from Unrest.

Str line is really over rated and unworthy to get it. Our bare fist at lv70 is 2.5 delay, 50-83 damages. It is a 53.2 damage rating weapon. With str line, you get 20 dps and 96% double attack. In other word, it equal to 2 DW 52.1 weapons with 20 dps mod. However, the damage spread ratio of bare fist is lower than most regular weapon. The damage spread is only 1.66 comparing to 3. You get less benefit from critical hit with lower damage spread ratio weapons. Moreover, our offensive stance didn't add any skill bonus to fist. In other word, when you use your bare fist, you can't get any skill benefit from offensive stance. Now, it's your choice. Do you want to spend 16 points to get a pair of free 52.1 DW weapon with 20 dps mod but less benefit from critical (int) line and very low atk? Or you can get a pair of cheap 53.6 legendary weapons, closing time and cog tuner, with extra 16 points in different lines with better benefits from critical (int) line and at least 100 more atk in offensive stance. Not to say, you get extra 40+ str, 300+ hp and 4 proc from weapons. The extra 20 dps mod won't compensate low hit ratio of bare fist, not to say exrta 100+ atk, 300+ hp and 4 procs from weapons.
