A few very newbish questions?

<p>Hi , i would be very grateful is someone could explain what Mitigation and warding actually mean, folks seem to talk about them alot and i never have a clue what they're on about!!</p><p>I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to take a screenshot, i press the button and it says taking screenshot and saving screenshot but then i dont know how to veiw or retrieve them ive logged into my toon on this site but it says no shots to download?????</p><p>Thanks in advance.</p>

Mitigation is the number that decides how much of the damage you take are mitigated by your gear. Wards are a damage preventing style of healing used by defiler, mystic and paladin.

<p>Yeah you have to go look in the progra files/sony/everqyest 2 folder and there should be a screenshot folder there. </p><p>Mitigation is an armor rating system. Each piece of armor has a certain mitigation which adds up with all your other pieces and is how much damage is absorbed/blocked by your armor.</p><p>As it was said before, warding is a type of healing used by defilers/mystics. They will place the ward on the tank and when he takes damage it is substracted from the ammount left in the ward. A ward has a certain ammount it will ward and a timer. For example: the healer uses a ward that has 550 points of warding and a 25 second timer, if the 550 points are used up before the timer expires it will just end and then anymore damage will be taken from the tank's health. However if the ward has, for example, 200 points left when the timer ends, the 200 points are converted into a heal worth the same ammount.</p>
