<p>I was having a similar problem in that after the patcher I would click Play and get fatal error. </p><p>What worked for me was to go into the EQ2 directory and delete the character .ini files and character ui settings.ini files . </p><p>I hope this works for you too. </p>

I doubt it would since I am having this problem from a fresh Install. "No Char.Ini's" :/

<p>I also uninstalled and reinstalled my game and still had my problem. </p><p>Try this , it won't hurt and may help. </p><p><img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
