Hi, I am level 22 and just learned about AAs. I didnt know what they were about, but now found out I have seemed to miss the boat for a bunch of levels. Is there any way I can make them up? I really do not want to reroll. I know that grey quests do not give AA's and I do not understand what mentoring is or how to do it. Also, is there enough content in the game to make up the difference in AA xp need to hit the cap by level 70.

You get AA exp for all sorts of things; killing nameds, finding certain loot, completing quests, discovering new places etc. If you're 22 and have no AA exp you might not have the required expansions installed, most players get their first AA shortly after level 10. If you do have the expansions and all that is in order (press L and see if you have two AA point trees and an AA exp bar), just disable your combat exp and go about your game as normal, you'll level slower but more quests done per level means more AAs at lower levels too. Also, I believe at lvl 70 all your exp goes towards AA instead of the regular combat exp.

I've had toons with 0 aa at lvl 40 hit 96 aa at lvl 70. you are fine.

Now I'm 70, with 86 AAs. You'll be fine, even if you're not at 100 AAs by level 70.

Here's a tip: take your character to Whisperwind Island, in Barren Sky. You'll get an exploration event as soon as you "discover" Whisperwind. Go out & find the cloud portal, & begin flying around from island to island. You'll get an exploration event at each island, which at your level will be good for around 5-6% or so per island. So long as you stay on the cloud portals, you should be completely safe. I've done this at 10th level on some alts, so it's very safe. If you can find your way up to the Aviak camp on Whisperwind, you can get another exploration event there, & pick up the Aviak L&L book as well.

Exploration events are a great way to pick up AAXP, because all you have to do is go there. It's even easier if you have stealth or invis, but neither is necessary.

If you don't mind completely draining your bank box -- & also taking the risk of becoming completely & irrevocably addicted to collection quests -- then go out, get as much money as you can, & buy up collection quest items. Collection quests are a great way to get AAs & even regular XP at low levels. Besides, farming for the shinies you don't have yet is addictively fun, & very profitable

Good luck.

Thanks all, these are some very helpful tips. So yea, my char will suck at pvp in the lower tiers but i can seemt o make it up % wise as I get higher in level. One question regarding collectibles, at first I was just sellig them but then my gf found out what to do with them. I was already level 22. The collections that are too low a level for me, will I not get AAepx from them like like "Grey" quests?

A few of my deaths have been from being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being one hit killed by something I didn't even see.

Is it something to do with TT. It could be worse. I was level 70 less than 2 months after KoS. I still don't have 100 points. The quests and exploration are the primary means of gaining AP. That being said, at level 22, you've got plenty of time to accumulate them. My advice is, do absolutely every quest that you can.

I too am in the same boat, except my char is lvl 35 and I now have 12 points. I have spoken to people in my guild and they say not to worry. I will catch up (they said that when I had only 7 points at lvl 33-34ish I think I was. What I do, is that I am now finishing all the quests that are grey and green to me (in my book) and then before the final hand-in I ask a kind junior to group with me so I can mentor down and get aa exp for them. I also am hunting down all the other quests I haven't started yet, even the grey ones. It works fine. And I am very happy I don't have to delete and start over.

There is more than enough content for someone to get 100 aas even if they started late. I personally was level 60 before the first 50 aa came out at all. Easily got lvl 70 and the first 50 long before the next expansion and next set of 50 aa came out. I currently sit at 100 aa with 60 or so unfinished quests in my journal, most waiting for the new expansion so I can get some xp for them to help me on my way to 80.
